My Home Town
Everyone who is anybody has heard of Brighton. Well, that's where I live! Well, that's not quite true - I live in Hove actually! This is a standing joke for people in our area who don't think that others have heard of Hove.
Hove is the home of a number of famous people, such as Derek Jameson, Chris Eubank, Norman Cook and ... ME!

Earning a crust
Until 2000, I was working at the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex as a full time Computer Network Administrator and part time Bar Person. That is how I got into preparing web sites. However, work was getting a little too monotonous so I decided to concentrate on the Licensed Trade side of my job.
Having taken a job as a Bar Person at a local pub called The Portland, I became the Bar Manager at another local bar and club in Hove. The Portland, which is a locals pub during the day, also has live music every week. In August 2003, following a period of trying to get my own business off the drawing board, I became a PCV Driver for Brighton and Hove Bus & Coach Company. In a way I have come full circle - it is something I have always been wanting to try, and I have a number of well established friends already there.
